DESCRIPTION

The BSS 4000 is a high performance trencher and pipe layer. For maximum maneuverability, it is now rear-mounted with an independent hydrostatic crawler drive.
The BSS 4000 preserves the typical HollandDrain features such as the "walking undercarriage" and semi-parallelogram back-end configuration; both features which allow for high grade precision even at high installation speeds.
Because of its long tracks and wide shoe-pad capability of 1.2 meters, the BSS 4000 is a preferred machine for operation in boggy sub-soil with ground water tables rising to ground surface.
Its powerful Mercedes engine ensures class and long lifetime and guarantees ample power for all field conditions including working in 50 degrees Celsius ambient shade temperatures.
The BSS 4000 can be supplied with a large scale of optional equipment to enhance basic ease of operation, gradient control and efficiency of job execution. These options include laser, special trench-box executions, full-size comfort operator cabins and pipe handling auxiliaries.
