DESCRIPTION:

Since its introduction in the late 1980s, the BSS 4500 has developed a reputation as the most reliable and most elegant trencher. It combines beauty of design with great functionality. Hydraulic digging boom length adjustment permits quick change from one depth range to another, which is particularly useful when the machine is to install both collector pipes and laterals for agricultural drainage.
The standard BSS 4500 comes equipped with both hydro-mechanical crawler drive and mechanical digging chain drive. The hydrostatic option incorporates full hydrostatic drive of crawlers and chain, with optionally automatic creep control as crawler/digging chain drive interface.
The BSS 4500 can be use in all sub-soil textures including unstable waterlogged clay and sand, heavy sticky loams and boulder infested sites.
The BS 4500 holds a typical Hollanddrain walking undercarriage with exceptionally wide track opening up to 2.3 m between its standard crawler shoes.
