DESCRIPTION:

Steenbergen Holland Drain developed methods for the mechanized adding of a filter envelope 'of underground pipe strings. This plays a major role in the cost and therefore the profitability of the execution of drainage works, especially in large projects. The influence of groundwater level, instability of the soil in the area of the groundwater, surface conditions of the project and the required amount of filter material per drain, set considerable demands on the logistical operations and thereby, to the transportation tasks. Steenbergen Holland Drain has a full range of trailer types in its range, suitable for both drainage and drainage machinery plows continuous filter-feeding needs.
SHD's most used trailer G4, suitable for 4 m3 payload, combines simplicity of concept with high technical reliability. Ground pressure adjustment is possible by mounting single and double tires or (optionally) special low pressure tires. Hundreds of G4s are used in dozens of projects around the world demonstrating continuity of operation and high availability
Hollanddrain GSP 6 is a 129 HP self propelled highly mobile trailer with a load capacity of 6 m3. A hydro-mechanical 4-wheel drive ensures fast loading corridor and low-pressure tires ensure high accessibility.
Hollanddrain GSP 10 moves 10 m3 gravel filter material in a very robust built hopper mounted on a Hollanddrain crawler carrier. This caterpillar based vehicle has a fully hydraulic drive powered by a 200 hp water-cooled diesel engine. The bunker section is removable, so the tracked vehicle can be used for other heavy off-road wear and transport functions.
The hydraulically extendable axles make for a special wide track position and the vehicle can drive over the drain slot for quick filling slot on almost full depth. A mounted side-unloading conveyor is optional.
