DESCRIPTION:

After the introduction of the U 2500 rock trencher with axially mounted excavation back-end, market parties urged for an additional model with RH side off-set facility and incorporated belt-conveyor-system to evacuate rock-spill away from the road and into lorries.
Therefore, Hollanddrain engineers test ran the U 2500 with those very required features and compact powered with 240 HP showed great operation capability.
The 2500D has obtained an outstanding reputation on cable and road drainage in French test areas. The machine combines a great penetration capability in the hardness range of 300-500 kg/sqcm, with easy handling of road base fill.
Its trench width is standardized to 300 mm with potentially reductions and increases from 250mm to 700mm.
State of the art hydrostatics ensure automatic speed-to-load adjustments for travel speed and great versatility in excavation speed variation
The U2500D comprises "walking undercarriage". Operator visibility is guaranteed by hydraulic outshift of great comfort cabin during operation.
In line with European safety rules, new serial production of U 2500 models comprises R.O.P.S cabins. Also the sound reduction levels can optionally be realized.
